Rachel is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) who joined our team in July 2021. Originally, Rachel is from upstate New York where she completed her Bachelors of Nursing and Masters Nursing at Binghamton University. Prior to completing her Masters, Rachel worked in Neurology as a registered nurse focusing on patients who dealt with chronic pain and headaches.
Upon moving to Delaware, Rachel completed a fellowship in Primary Care with Christiana Care.
During her fellowship, she became frustrated with experiences as a nurse practitioner in primary care and sought out a role where she could make a bigger impact. She identified her passion for comprehensive patient care, which resulted in the devotion to identify the root cause of her patient’s issues. Upon identifying a need for nutritional guidance for our patient population, Rachel acquired a certification in nutrition from the University of Stanford. It is her hope that with this knowledge, she can help provide holistic care and guide patients to naturalistic optimal health. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys kayaking, hiking, cooking, as well as spending time with friends and family.
