Tongue & Lip Ties

Not A “Helicopter Mom Fad”.
Not A Social Media “Influencer Invention”.
Tongue & Lip Ties Are Real Conditions With Potential Health Consequences for Infants & Toddlers.

What is a Tongue Tie?

If we assess your child and determine that orthodontic expansion is required as part of our treatment protocol, there are several paths we can take to get to our desired goal. However, all treatment plans include structural and functional components which help support sustainable, positive outcomes.

Signs & Symptoms of Tongue
Ties In Infants

  • Difficulty latching to the breast properly.
  • Chomping, gumming, popping on and off of the breast.

Ties In Toddlers

  • Symptoms that mirror ADD/ADHD
  • Fatigue and lack of energy

  • Poor performance at school an in sports
  • Crowded and crooked teeth
