Witnessing firsthand how these conditions lead to speech distortions and tongue thrust, she understands the importance of tackling these underlying concerns. Embracing a holistic approach, she believes in correcting oral muscle imbalances and promoting proper oral habits through myofunctional therapy. Beth joined The Center for Airway & Facial Development after completing a year-long apprenticeship within the practice, where she worked closely with both patients and providers while gaining a deep understanding of the practice’s philosophy and approach to care. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about oral health as a gateway to whole-body wellness, which naturally led her to pursue advanced training in myofunctional therapy.
Beth values a calm, compassionate, and individualized approach to care, believing that trust and education are essential to patient success. Her extensive clinical background allows her to recognize how oral habits, airway concerns, and muscle imbalances can impact overall health, breathing, and facial development. She is committed to helping patients improve function through targeted therapy that supports long-term stability and wellness.
Working alongside fellow myofunctional therapist Teaunuh Moulden, Beth helps expand access to personalized, function-based care for both pediatric and adult patients. She currently sees patients on Wednesdays and Thursdays and is proud to support families throughout their airway and myofunctional therapy journey.
Alicia, our Lead Orthodontic Assistant, dedicated to creating the ultimate experience for patients at our Pediatric Early Intervention Orthodontic practice. With a solid foundation in dental assisting from Delaware Technical Community College, Alicia embarked on a transformative journey in orthodontics, and has spent the last decade in this progressive field.
Her passion lies in fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere where both children and adults feel at ease. Alicia believes in connecting with patients on a personal level, prioritizing their comfort and making each visit feel like a welcoming family affair.
